I'm Vena Verga-Danemar, Founder of Legally She Can, A Swiss-Based Legal Consultancy in Zurich
But it didn't start out as one. It started in 2017, when I founded our family's product-based business. And this is our story...
THE STORY OF LEGALLY SHE CAN
I thought I had this. I'd been advising business owners on legal matters for years. But running a business is a completely different challenge, especially for women.
We often lack accessible legal support. Many want to be legally guided but find it too expensive or intimidating. During that time, peers and colleagues kept coming to me with legal questions. So in 2019, I started hosting free legal webinars for women business owners.
When the pandemic hit, I had more time to run these sessions consistently, and that's when Legally She Can truly began to take form. From 2019 to 2021, it stayed a side project while I focused on our product-based business and raising my family.
But the demand for accessible legal guidance kept growing. By the end of 2021, I formally incorporated Legally She Can GmbH in Switzerland, with the incorporation finalized in 2022.

Why "Legally She Can"
When I started supporting women business owners, I kept seeing the same pattern, over and over:

-
Scared that someone would copy their work
-
Stuck in collaborations they didn't know how to leave
-
Unsure what to do when a client refused to pay or demanded a refund
-
Spending time fixing documents, relationships, and systems that had become misaligned
I knew this wasn't just about one contract or one policy.
The documents said one thing. The business did another. And what people saw from the outside didn't always match either.

Those parts had become misaligned, often without anyone noticing until something went wrong.

That's still true today, and AI has only raised the stakes. It's never been easier for surface polish to look like credibility.
But real credibility still comes down to one question: does what you show the world actually match what's happening inside your business?

Legally She Can was created to help you fix exactly that kind of misalignment.

The name was never just a name.

It came to stand for the kind of business you actually want to build: one where your expertise is recognized instead of being overshadowed by someone louder, more visible, or better at looking credible online.

One where your clients trust you, and you are not constantly pulled away from your work by questions about boundaries, contracts, policies, or what you are allowed to do.

That is what alignment makes possible. When Reality, Legal Commitments, and Public Signals are aligned, your business is understood and trusted by humans and machines.
How we can help you
Contracts and client agreements
Contracts and client agreements that match how you actually work, not a template you downloaded years ago
Website legal policies
Website legal policies, including your privacy policy, terms and conditions, and cookie notices, that match the tools and data behind your website.

GDPR AND FADP compliance
GDPR and Swiss FADP compliance, so you understand what you're responsible for and what your providers are doing with the data you collect

Trademark and Brand protection
Trademark and brand protection, so you can protect the business name and work you're building

Crossroads navigation
A clear next move when you're stuck on a business decision and asking AI hasn't gotten you anywhere, whether that's a client who won't pay, a collaboration that needs to end, or something else you can't get a straight answer on. This is where crossroads navigation comes in.

AI app and chatbot compliance
So the providers, data flows, contracts, and disclosures behind your tool match how you actually use it.
Trust Footprint
A consistent, verifiable public trust footprint, so what people and AI systems find about you matches the work you actually do

Every part of the work moves toward the same thing:
a business people trust because it's built to be trusted, not simply dressed up to look that way.

At Legally She Can, we believe that:

Final Thoughts
The lesson I learned in 2017 was simple: being good at what you do is not enough if the business around that expertise doesn't support it.

Your clients should be able to see your experience, trust your decisions, and feel confident working with you. You shouldn't have to keep stopping your real work to untangle questions about contracts, boundaries, policies, client data, or what you're allowed to do next.

Your documents, your systems, your client journey, your public presence. They all need to match the business you're actually running.
When they do, your expertise has room to shine. Your clients know where they stand. You can become more visible without quietly worrying about what someone might find when they look more closely.

That's what I mean when I say trust is the function of structure and the idea behind the doctrine of Structural Trust.
Legally She Can was built to help you create that kind of business: one that reflects the depth of your expertise, earns trust for the right reasons, and gives you more space to do the work you're here to do.
